Pastor Leon Scoggins
Founder/Lead Pastor
Courageous, Relevant, Powerful and Anointed are just a few characteristics to describe Pastor Leon Scoggins. Receiving Christ into his life at the age of 5, Pastor Leon has continued to operate in kingdom work and has grown to be a monumental voice of the 21st-century millennium. His foundation was laid since birth at Center of Hope Community Church in Oakland, California under the leadership of Bishop Ernestine Cleveland-Reems. Pastor Leon Scoggins preached his first sermon at the age of 7. Being faithful to his local church, Pastor Scoggins played a vital role within the youth department. 

Understanding the assignment on his life at age 16, Pastor Leon transitioned to Providence Baptist Church in Richmond California. There, he Received his license to preach and served as Youth Pastor. 

Pastor Scoggins is a graduate of one of the most prominent institutions in the Bay Area, Oakland School for the Arts (OSA). While at OSA, Pastor Leon cultivated his talents playing drums and percussion. He has been afforded the great opportunity to perform with some of the world’s most talented artists, including Ledisi, Zendaya Coleman, Angie Stone, Lenny Williams, J-Moss, Regina Belle and many more. 

In the summer of 2015, the Lord spoke expressly to Pastor Scoggins to commence his local ministry and subsequently, 
on Sunday, August 23, 2015, Pastor Leon Scoggins was ordained by Pastor John D. Adams of Living Springs Christian Fellowship to confirm what God had already spoken. 

In addition to pastoring, Pastor Leon Scoggins is an Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, Millennial Influencer and Author with a growing social media audience  of 100,000+. Pastor Leon has earned a reputation for reaching young people across the world and helping them achieve their fullest potential, no matter where one may be in the process. He is currently the youngest Pastor in Stockton, California, where he serves as the Founder and Lead Pastor of Life City Church. On July 11th 2020 Pastor Leon Scoggins married the beautiful Mrs. Danaé Scoggins, affectionately called “Lady Nae” to the Life City family!” Together they share a daughter, Peyton Danaé Scoggins. 

With such a passion for up building of communities and young people, Pastor Scoggins has hosted many community prayer rallies and events to advocate change. As Pastor Leon continues to be a monumental voice for the 21st-century generation, he understands that God has ordained him to make an impact, not just for his local community but in the world at large. Pastor Leon Scoggins lives by and authentically believes, as he so often states, “anything is possible with a dream, prayer and action”.
